Educating, nowadays, consists of proposing instances and experiences so that the subject who learns becomes capable
of elaborating his life project, managing his emotions, developing social skills to integrate into the social framework,
engage with the knowledge of the 21st century, appropriate the cultural heritage, enrich it, act critically on it
and transform it.
In a time of profound transformations that make a complex reality, our educational task seeks to promote
the development of the person in all its dimensions, placing the concept of comprehensive training at the
base of teaching. In this way, we ask ourselves what children need to know in order to successfully
integrate into the knowledge society and what processes are the ones that will allow them to learn,
communicate and develop skills, at the accelerated pace of the logic of the 21st century. In this sense,
our school is recognized as the institution in charge of:
• Propose to children the knowledge and practice of Christian values to achieve relationships based
on respect, tolerance and collaboration, involving all members of the community in the path of Faith,
in the development and compliance with standards for harmonious coexistence; and in the implementation
of dialogue for the peaceful resolution of conflicts.
• Promote the necessary practices for the gestation of significant learning, respecting the vital stages
that students go through. During the seven years that the level encompasses, it is about promoting the
development of skills of various kinds: linguistic, mathematical reasoning, social, knowledge and relationship
with the environment, physical, cultural, artistic and digital.
• Commit to current needs and new perspectives that focus on affectivity, emotional intelligence,
interdisciplinary and collaborative work, and the training of digital citizens.
Among the main activities to be carried out during the school year at the Primary Level, the following stand out:
